.Net Developer – £competitive – NorthWest
We’re recruiting for an experienced .Net developer with experience across
the entire website and software development lifecycle. The successful
developer will have background in web development technologies and object
orientated applications development.
The successful candidate will have the following required skills: –
•Excellent knowledge of HTML & CSS
•A good understanding of XML.
•2 years experience developing .NET web applications preferably in C#
•Experience in database design & management using MS SQL Server 2005
•Experience creating and using web services.
•Ability to plan, schedule and monitor own work load under strict time
lines.
•Ability to absorb technical information when presented systematically, and
apply it effectively.
•The ability to use appropriate methods, tools and applications effectively
by showing a thorough understanding.
•Sufficient communication skills for effective dialogue with colleagues and
external parties.
•Good communication skills both verbal & written.
•Ability to work on own initiative, as well as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Development of new web sites & web applications.
- Maintenance and support of existing web sites.
- Creation of new windows application.
- Database administration.
- Integration with 3rd parties and creating web services for third parties to
integrate with our client - Case Management Support & Development.
- Production of documentation & manuals.
- Learn new technology as required.
