1st/2nd Line Support Engineer, VMWare, Symantec Backup, Cisco
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced 1st/2nd line Support
Engineer to join a team of 4 in a rapidly expanding company. Reporting to
the Head of ICT Europe you will be working mainly on the phone and through
remote desktop to administer user support for the 280 and growing users,
there will also be an element of project work involved.
The successful candidate will have the following skill set and ideally a
degree in an IT related discipline with excellent communication skills.
Hands-on knowledge of products including:
VMWare
Cisco Call Manager
Symantec Backup Exec 2010
Windows XP Professional, 7 and 8
Office 2010
Active Directory administration
Microsoft Exchange 2010
Blackberry/BES
TCP/IP Networking Principals
Terminal Server/RDP
Dell/HP Hardware – Laptop/Desktop/
Remote Support Tools e.g. Remote desktop
Printer Maintenance
Citrix
